Formerly an equity trader in Manhattan, Andy left the corporate world in 2012 to join his father, Jon, and create TFHR. With an avid appreciation for historical restoration, extensive construction knowledge and a mechanical engineering background, Andy believes the structural and system details behind the walls should be just as well executed as the finishes you see. He's of the 'do it right the first time' school of thought and has established a team of talented, professional craftsmen to execute our projects in a precise and timely manner.
A successful small business-owner throughout his entire career, Jon began his renovation work one small job at a time. As word spread, he partnered with Andy to take on larger projects, including a massive seaside addition in LBI and a gut renovation in Hoboken. Together, the father and son team have over 50 years of combined renovation experience, working on everything from apartment kitchens to full brownstone re-builds. Today, Jon utilizes his accounting background to oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, including all permitting matters. It doesn't hurt that his good-natured demeanor makes him fast friends in any building department he visits.
